Irish Red Ale

Our Irish Red Ale is our interpretation of traditional Irish Red Ale. IPA²

Our West Coast IPA² can best be described as a real hoppy bomb, which we achieve by a very complex combination of different, particularly fruity hop varieties. Dolly – India Pale Ale (IPA)

Freiburg’s first IPA dolly is the black sheep among the local beers. We brewed a lot of malt and a lot of exotic hops to a true taste explosion. An IPA so good it can’t be cloned.

A decidedly hoppy and bitter, moderately strong American pale ale, showcasing modern American or New World hop varieties. The balance is hop- forward, with a clean fermentation profile, dryish finish, and clean, supporting malt allowing a creative range of hop character to shine through.

Horst – California Brown Ale

Light malt, dark caramel and chocolate malt combined with a fat breeze of West Coast hops. The Horst Abides.

Laird – West Coast Style IPA (Award Winner)

Laird is packed with Amarillo, Idaho 7, and Centennial hops. a bouquet of citrus, pine, and spice is layered on a cracker thin crust. This west coast ipa finishes dry with a bite. It was brewed for those that paddle out when it’s heavy and for those that dare to swim beyond the Buoy.

An intensely hoppy, fairly strong pale ale without the big, rich, complex maltiness and residual sweetness and body of an American barleywine. Strongly hopped, but clean, dry, and lacking harshness. Drinkability is an important characteristic; this should not be a heavy, sipping beer.

Doris – West Coast Style Pale Ale

This is a beer that does not mess around. It clocks in at 65 IBUs with only a 5,2% ABV. Utilizing only whirlpool and dry hops at a ratio of 100 grams per liter, Doris is light and fruity, with a clear, crisp and assertive bitterness. Enjoy, Cheers.

Piet is our newest IPA with a very simple malt bill to let the aroma hops shine. A mixture of Comet, Idaho 7, and Bru-1 hops and a hint of peated malt impacts tons of flavor and character. Well balanced, mild mannered, and provocative all at the same time. Enjoy, Cheers.
